Ranger's Story...
Some people say I look like a lion and I take that as a compliment because I do think that I’m a tad on the handsome side, if I do say so myself.

I am a very good boy with a lot of energy. I would love it if we could play together with one of my many feather toys or my laser because they are just the best and most fun things to chase around.

I get along great with other kitties as long as they let me be in charge. My foster mom says that I can be a bit bossy with some kitties. I also like the dogs in my foster home because they are little and they don’t try to chase me around the house.

I guess in my new home I would love to be the center of attention, I would love for us to have playtime together every day and other kitties and NICE dogs would be cool too.

I’ve been waiting quite a while for a “Forever” home to call my own, hopefully today is the day……
(Birthday: 9/2008)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ranger, a Palmdale Norwegian Forest Cat cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Norwegian Forest Cat for sale in Palmdale, or seeking a Norwegian Forest Cat cat from a breeder in Palmdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palmdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palmdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Norwegian Forest Cat breeders who help with Norwegian Forest Cat rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palmdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
