Meet Edie she is a stunning Catahoula Girl Edie is just 3 years old and was surrendered to Lifeline due to her previous owner having to travel, Edie is a well adjusted girl she has come from a stable background where she was looked after well, until her world came crashing down and both Edie and her doggie companion were given up to us in the hope we can find her a loving home where she can receive the attention she needs. Edie has adjusted well to Lifelines routine she has settled in well despite her companion of 3 years has already been adopted, She gets on well with all our other dogs but her owner did say she could sometimes show a little dominate side with other dogs.We have not seen this she plays well with all the others at Lifeline. Edie loves to run and play but she also loves to nap at your feet, She is house and crate trained and sleeps well in her crate, Edie dosent really need a crate she is fine in the home. She gets along with children and adults but can bark initially at you when she dosent know you. This dies down once she gets comfortable, She is fine at bath time loves swimming, walking and will fetch if you play with her, she adores car rides, walks well on a leash, and will come when called, She knows commands sit ,stay and down, Her negative point is she may jump on you when excited. Edie is average energy she gets on well with children and would make a wonderful addition to a family. We are now searching for Edies forever home where she can be loved and cherished a home that will give her back the stability that she needs, Her ideal home would be a fairly active family that will include her in activities, A fenced in yard where she can run and play would also be ideal but not essential. Someone that can show her affection Edie is a very loving girl, She is used to having one other doggie companion so a family that is looking for an addition again would be perfect but not essential, Could you be the family for Edie could you open up your heart and home to make Edies life complete again.
