I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, and up to date with shots.
Update:11/29 Gunther has been undergoing training for about the past 6 weeks with our volunteer. He is doing quite well and would be the perfect dog for a high energy family!
Gunther is a 9 month old gray and white pit bull mix. He's 42 lbs of energy that needs an experienced foster or adopter. He's still a pup and needs to learn his manners. He's confident with other dogs and is protective of his food. A volunteer wrote about this STUNNING youngster:
Gunther really stands out. He is gorgeous!!! He is young, healthy looking, wears not so much a grey coat but a fla
wless silver grey coat, all shining in the summer sun. His eyes are two matching jewels. He is medium size and compact. He is lively, playful and high energy. The fact that he is obedient and a good listener balances his level of activity. Gunther sits right away on command and stays. He is a good model for photo shooting. He comes when called and hops on the bench upon request. No need for a shower, Gunther's effusive love for humans will take care of that. He loves to run through the backyard and go after the ball. He is ready for all adventures. Gunther is quite good on the leash, seems housetrained and meets other dogs we met in a friendly way. Gunther is truly a beautiful dog. . He could be your next forever best friend.

Rescue Group Info...
We are a small, individual, private rescue group dedicated to giving unwanted dogs and cats a second chance. Most of the animals we rescue are strays and or owner surrenders to high kill city shelters. Many of them have been pulled off “death row”. We are very passionate about what we do, we love and care for these animals unconditionally. Our goal is to place our homeless rescues in permanent loving homes as their former owners have already abandoned them at least once before.
Adoption process includes adoption application, phone interview and home visit. Vet references are checked!
We do not have a physical shelter, we place our rescues in foster homes or boarding facilities where they are socialized and nurtured back to health before we place them in their forever home. If you are interested in adopting a friend, kindly look at our available pet on this site.
Adoption/Foster Application must be completed online via the link below.

Home visit is required along with Vet references. Our full list of fees have been listed on the adoption application. Our dogs come fully vetted and have to be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
Our rescue has a network of volunteers that cover most of NY and the tri-state area. We rescue dogs and cats from "Death Row" at the local shelters and provide them with a Second Chance in life.
