I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and not good with cats.
Disco's Story...
Disco is an 11 month old 36lb pit bull mix that is looking for a foster or forever home. She would do best in a home with older children and no cats. She is good with other dogs with slow introductions. A volunteer wrote:
Disco is a bright eyed, lively little girl wearing an immaculate brown and white coat with matching amber eyes. Her eyes make wonderful soft contact, her face is lit up in a
constant smile and her tail never stops wagging. She loves to make new friends, skipping through the park happy to talk to anyone who would talk to her. She is quite impossible to resist as her absolute joy at everything she sees is completely contagious. Disco pulls hard on the leash as she wants to explore everything and is anxious to get from place to place. This little girl will benefit from some leash training. She might be housetrained 'going' as soon as we were out the door. Disco made friends with a small 4 month old puppy, and perhaps sensing that this little dog is still very young, approached her gently. Go Disco! Disco is still a puppy herself and is playful and energetic. She is looking for a new family to provide lots of exercise, good nutrition and good loving to help her grow up into the rock star dog she is meant to be. About Our Rescue Group...
We are a small, individual, private rescue group dedicated to giving unwanted dogs and cats a second chance. Most of the animals we rescue are strays and or owner surrenders to high kill city shelters. Many of them have been pulled off “death row”. We are very passionate about what we do, we love and care for these animals unconditionally. Our goal is to place our homeless rescues in permanent loving homes as their former owners have already abandoned them at least once before.

Adoption process includes adoption application, phone interview and home visit. Vet references are checked!

We do not have a physical shelter, we place our rescues in foster homes or boarding facilities where they are socialized and nurtured back to health before we place them in their forever home. If you are interested in adopting a friend, kindly look at our available pet on this site.

Home visit is required along with Vet references. Our full list of fees have been listed on the adoption application. Our dogs come fully vetted and have to be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Our rescue has a network of volunteers that cover most of NY and the tri-state area. We rescue dogs and cats from "Death Row" at the local shelters and provide them with a Second Chance in life.
