Danica's Story...
Danica, also fondly called Dani, is a gentle, fun, and intelligent little sweetheart. She has beautiful pale golden eyes. Her short, sleek, and shiny coat is predominantly black, but she has a small puff of white fur on her neck. (As with most black cats, pictures don't do her justice!)

She was rescued from the parking lot of an apartment building where she was being fed. Once we had her inside, it was like she had been with people her whole little life! Full of love and affection, she is just a darling! She can be a little shy at first, but she purrs as soon as you touch her. Danica loves to play and wrestle with the other kittens in her foster home and she also gets along well with the adult cats she is fostered with. She would be a perfect kitten for a loving family with other friendly pets.

Dani's foster family tells us she's developing some cute habits. She's turning into a bit of a hoarder. Her favourite place to hang out is under the bed in the master bedroom. She has been spotted carrying various cat toys and even socks upstairs and under the bed. Most recently, she was seen dragging a big feather duster under there, made hilarious by the fact that she is so small and it looked like the duster was moving by itself. Once she is satisfied with her loot for the day, she likes to call the other kittens to come under the bed, so that they can all play in her little playground. That's right, kitten party! It is every bit as cute, funny, and awesome as it sounds.

Danica is so very sweet and friendly. Just the cutest tiny little girl....don't miss out on her!

Danica has been spayed & has her 1st set of vaccines done. She is ready for immediate adoption!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Danica, a Toronto Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
