Gatsby's Story...
My name is Gatsby and I was just wandering around all alone until I ended up in that scary old shelter! Luckily, the awesome people at Arizona Beagle Rescue took me in. Now I am happy and safe at my foster parents house, but I'm still looking for my Forever Home! Are you looking for a sweet & loyal forever friend? If so, then I'm your guy! My foster mom says that I have a very friendly and docile personality. I'm also incredibly handsome, if I do say so myself! I get along very well with all of my canine brothers and sisters. I do like to protect my food like any smart beagle would around other beagles! Going on walks are my second favorite thing. My foster mom put a harness on me because I like to slip out of my collar while on walks and run around the neighborhood. Now that I have my harness on, my foster parents can safely take me on long walks and I can't run away, which is great because I really like being with a family. If you would like to meet me so you can fall in love with me in person, please visit AZBR's website at and fill out an adoption application today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gatsby, a Phoenix Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
