I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
You can read all about Monk below! But first... This pet has been rescued by a good Samaritan. This cat is looking for a forever home and is available for adoption. Molly's Mutts and Meows has offered a courtesy posting to help this cat in need. This rescuer has also been invited to show their available animal with us at our Saturday adoptions in West Hollywood.
Monk and his 'jazz siblings' (Ella, Nina Lena, Billie and their mom Josephine) were all rescued by an indie rescuer named Lupe. You can call Lupe if you would like to meet the kittens at 323-683-2997. Or you can email her daughter, Erica at Erica erica_renteria@yahoo.com to ask more questions. But they will want to see an application first before arranging a meet and greet. You can easily fill one out online at www.mollysmuttsandmeows.org. Click here to go to application page.
And now, we'd like to introduce you to Monk!
Be sure to watch his videos. We have two videos posted on Monk on his write up. You can see Monk and all his jazz kitten sibings in the You Tube posted at the BOTTOM (at the end of the write-up) They are all so cute LIVE!
Monk and his almost twin sister, Billie, love each other so much. One of the photos in this posting is of Monk and Billie. We also have a video of Monk and Billie together in the link right here: http://youtu.be/2NDFWKM2gME
If you are looking to adopt two kittens, we would love to see them get adopted together. If you have a cat/kitten who is looking for a buddy, Monk is your man!
Monk and his jazz siblings and his mom Josephine were rescued in an area of LA where there are LOTS of feral and stray cats and kittens (near Venice Blvd and Redondo). His kind rescuer took them all in and has been caring them. They are roughly 8 months old so they are still babies. We think Monk is a domestic short hair mixed with Burmese. He is not a purebred, but he sure is handsome. He loves everyone he meets. He is a true snuggler too. He loves to be around his kitten sisters (he was the only boy of a litter of 5). He also is happy being held. He is very confident around other cats and dogs. Basically, he is purrfect. :)
Monk is neutered, chipped and current on all vaccines. We want to make sure Monk finds a loving FOREVER home. At our rescue we have a special place in our hearts for black cats/kittens. They are so overlooked due to their color and their are so many that need loving homes. Maybe you are the perfect home for sweet Monk? Or if you want a black girl kitten, you can check out his identical (almost) twin sister, Billie Holiday on our website.
As a reminder... If you would like to meet Monk.. we really need you to fill out an application FIRST. Then Lupe and Erica will arrange a meet-and-greet. You can easily fill one out online at www.mollysmuttsandmeows.org. Click here to go to application page. Be as complete as you can and don't be shy! We like to know a lot about the homes for our critters. We will get it and respond back to you within 24 hours. (We are all volunteers and work full time, so be patient with us. We will respond, I promise!)We also have a printable PDF version of our application. If you fax it in, be sure to write 'Monk' at the top if it. You may want to call us to double-check that we received it. Our phone number is 310-837-MUTT.
