Licorice's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with cats.

Licorice's Story...
Licorice is a beautiful and playful black kitty that can be a little shy at times. She was born on Easter Sunday of 2011. She gets along well with other cats once she has gotten familiar with them. She loves to play with feather toys, and likes attention but on her own terms. She can be seen at the Murrieta Petco and adopted by completing an application from our website and emailing it to or fax it to 267-636-4086.

Cats adopted through FUR will be vaccinated, spayed or neutered, tested for Felv and many of them are microchipped prior to adoption. Typical Adult cat adoption donations are $75, cash or cards accepted, sorry no checks. Please visit our website, for an application.

About Feline Underground Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Feline Underground Rescue was created in order to fill a need in the Inland Empire community that exists because too many unwanted or abandoned cats and kittens are being needlessly euthanized in shelters. We have started this new nonprofit animal rescue group so that we can rescue many of these cats and kittens either directly from the shelters or before they are turned in to a shelter in order to save their lives, provide them the necessary medical care and prepare them for adoption.
Our adoptable cats and kittens will go to their FURever homes having been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, tested for Feline Leukemia, and treated for fleas and worms while being lovingly cared for in a network of foster homes and adoption centers run by volunteers. Potential adopters will be carefully screened via an application process which our Board of Directors will design with certain parameters to adhere to.
Our network of foster families specializes in nursing back to health the sick or underage kitties that often do not get the opportunity to be adopted in shelter situations. Volunteers of all ages and stages of life will be welcomed and trained in the areas they can comfortably provide their services to our organization in order to serve the community.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our cats are available for adoption at the Murrieta Petco. Special adoption events are usually held every Saturday from 11am to 3pm. Many cats are at the Murrieta Petco every day. Other cats (and most kittens) are in foster homes that can arrange a visit upon approval of the application.

Our Adoption Process...

We require an application to be filled out and approved prior to selecting an adopter for the animal. Once approved, the applicant is matched to an appropriate pet for their lifestyle and an adoption agreement is completed. We do have adoption fees associated with the adoption of most of our animals to cover medical and supply costs.
