Carson BLACK LAB PUPPY!!'s Story...
Woof - my name is Carson. I am a 3 month old Neutered Male PUREBRED Black Labrador Retriever. I was rescued from a rural shelter in Utah and flown in by private plane to Labs and Friends.org since they had found great homes for some of my friends previously. I am great with other dogs and I seem fine around cats too. I am great with all kinds of people and am great with kids. I would make a wonderful family pet. I am a typical lab puppy and I would benefit from a home who is committed to all of the work of having a puppy, including training me and socializing me properly.
I am neutered, microchipped, vetted and had my first round of shots.
If you are interested in meeting me or adopting me, please email my rescue at carolee@labsandfriends.org for an application for me or any of my other dog friends - or you can also go to www.labsandfriends.org and download the application there as well. You can email the application in or fax it to 818-351-8148 no cover sheet needed. Thanks for rescuing!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carson BLACK LAB PUPPY!!, a Burbank Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Burbank, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Burbank.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burbank already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burbank breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burbank paves the way for another one to be saved.
