Luke's Story...
Luke is a very handsome blue American Pit Bull Terrier. He is a very sweet baby boy. Luke loves to cuddle with you. He would be a great lap dog. He loves playing with other dogs and ignores cats once you tell him too. He is working on leash walking and getting better everyday. He is working on crate and house training. He is a sweet, sensitive boy. Luke needs a fenced in yard so he can run around and play. If you have anymore questions, you can email his foster mom at dallaspugsrule@yahoo.com or fill out an adoption application at www.rescueabull.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luke, a Killen American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Killen, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Killen.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Killen already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Killen breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Killen paves the way for another one to be saved.
