My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cherry is an adorable little lap dog who is devoted and extremely loyal. She loves everyone and gets along well with other pets including cats. She would be fine with respectful children of any age and would make a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a devoted, loving little dog. Cherry is approximately 2 years old and weighs about 10 lbs.


Here is what her foster family had to say:


Cherry is just the sweetest little girl. She follows me everywhere and is friendly with everyone that comes into my home. When she first came into my care she was very shy and didn't even understand what a treat was. With love and attention she is coming to understand that there is no danger here and her whole personality is now starting to shine. She loves to be cuddled and petted and be with you wherever you go.


Cherry became a different dog once she was bathed. She was so happy she danced around and began playing with toys. She has learned to do the stairs and is now house trained. She is crate trained and although most nights she likes to sleep in bed with me, she is crated when I go out.


Cherry will need someone to continue helping her gain confidence and give her lots of love and cuddles. She is so sweet it would be very easy to spoil her but she also needs to know that she is a dog and that she has a place in the family.


She loves to lie at my feet if I am watching tv and loves to play with her toys and can otherwise amuse herself. She wants to be with you all the time but doesn't need constant attention.


Cherry will make a wonderful companion for whatever lucky family adopts her.
