My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Skeena is a gorgeous, 2 ½ year old, dark gray and white, purebred, Landseer Newfoundland. She has been Vet checked and spayed. She is healthy, she weighs 125 pounds, on heartworm preventative and up to date on all of her vaccinations.

If I could sum up Skeena in two words they would be goofy and loving. Skeena has done fabulously indoors and is potty trained. Skeena is perfectly content in her kennel and doesn’t whine or cry. Skeena has not even approached the people furniture and is not a “counter surfer” or beggar. Skeena is not a barker; and is very relaxed and playful when not with my other dogs. Skeena understands “sit,” “no” and “go potty.” She is a very smart girl who grasps new things with enthusiasm.

Skeena enjoyed the long ride from her original home and is really good in cars in general. Skeena is very affectionate with humans and can be quite playful! Skeena is working on leash training and I am confident that she will grasp that as quickly as she has her other newly acquired skills.

Skeena was not accustomed to being in a house, not to mention a house with other dogs in her space. Skeena had known nothing except being tied out in a yard her entire life, and was not socialized. She is quickly adapting to being in the house and living with other dogs.
Skeena is such a sweet and lovey girl. The forever family that brings Skeena into their lives will be very fortunate to have her.

Our adoption fee is $300.00. A fenced yard with a minimum height of 4-feet is required for adoption.
If you plan on submitting an application and you are out of our region, once your application is approved we require that you come to our area to meet the dog and foster family. If that goes well you will be able to take your Newfie home with you.
