Duffy's Story...
I'm Duffy, puppy extraordinaire! I was born November 1, 2006, and am a black and tan Dobe, with military cropped ears and docked tail. I was turned in by my owner because she could not handle me. Since then, I've been neutered and am calming down , but have lots of energy to burn. I love to play and get along with other dogs, particularly with my foster's three year old Doberman. I am fast as lightening and run around in my fenced yard. I loved to chase and be chased. After playing hard, I'll crash hard. I am working on my basic commands and manners, and can now sit, although I prefer to jump up on you and give kisses. I enjoy chewing, especially compressed rawhide bones and rolls and pigs ears. When I am home alone, I settle down nicely in my crate. I am housebroken but haven't learned to bark to go outside. I start pacing the floor when I need to go out and go potty. I get along with small children, and given the time and attention, I would make a great family dog. While I love my foster family, I need a forever family of my own. If you could spend some time with me and help polish my manners, then I am the pup for you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duffy, a Arlington Doberman Pinscher puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher puppy from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
