Princess's Story...
Meet Princess! We couldn't have picked a better name for this pretty little girl if we tried. She is a tiny long haired five month old kitten. Her eyes are bright blue that stand out against her powder white fur. Just when you think this kitten couldnt be any cuter she turns around to show you her bob tail. She has had a bit of a hard time adjusting to being at the shelter but is starting to come around. She enjoys being pet and will even roll around on her back so you can get to her belly. Since Princess was found as a stray we have a limited history on her but know she does well with other cats. Princess is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess, a Jackson Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
