My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This youngster is Grace. Grace is a bit shy and learning what this world is all about. Our volunteers continue to work with her on socializing her to our big world and she is making progress. Due to her shy nature, Grace will need a home with another dog. She gains a lot of confidence in their presence and this has been so helpful with her socialization. Grace is a lovable gal and enjoys human companionship.

Grace is a young lab and will need a lot of mental and physical activities on a daily basis in order to keep her happy and well adjusted. Daily walks or jogs in the morning would be ideal. Another active canine friend at her side will help show her the ropes of leash walking. Grace enjoys chasing after a ball but is still learning to bring it back. For now she's just happy to throw it around and bound after it!

Grace needs a home with folks that are home more then away. A home that will continue to work with her on her socialization and since Grace is a puppy she'll need patient parents willing to work with her through her puppyhood. Labs tend to have long puppy stages lasting well into their first 2-4 years. Obedience classes will be a perfect bonding experience for Grace and her new parents.
