Jerry, the sweetest and most outgoing boxer mix you will ever find needs to get out of boarding into a great home in the northwest! Jerry is a wonderful 18 month old who just wants to be loved and hang out with you, have doggie play dates and play! (plus walks and treats are always bonuses!) Jerry is on the small side, weighing about 40lbs. His temperament is easy going and loving and he is loyal and friendly. He is great with kids but because of his exuburance, it's probably best that he is in a home with older kids. He just loves affection and attention and anytime it can be ‘all about Jerry!” But he doesn’t demand it and is happy just being near you even if you’re not paying attention to him! Jerry was rescued out of high kill Georgia shelter and transported west to you and his real forever home. He still has his ‘boxer’ playfulness when someone new comes over, but he just needs your to be firm with his training and move him from good to great! Jerry is eager to please and listens well. He is food motivated and responds well with his training. He currently is living with his trainer and that’s great for his new owner who knows him well. Jerry is house trained and does prefer to be indoors with you, but he loves the outdoors as well and any form of outdoor activity. He is crate and kennel trained. Jerry, loves to fetch balls and Frisbees and can't ever seem to get enough of it. Flyball might be right up this guys alley. Jerry loves people of all kind and the same with other dogs. Jerry loves car rides and long walks in the park with you. He is outgoing but respectful and good on the leash, he can be somewhat pully, but his trainer is working on that. Jerry is working on basic obedience and knows sit, lie down, come etc. Jerry is a great dog for an active family who is willing to continue with his trainer’s program. He is still young boxer and is high energy but is mature enough to listen to you and understands your management of him.. He is current on all vaccines and neutered and micro-chipped. Jerry only wants the simple things in life, exercise and activity- love and attention! Make this the best summer season ever for Jerry by getting him out of training and into your home!
