Sissy's Story...
Sissy - I am a spayed female white Parson Russell Terrier mix. I am about four years old. Sissy is currently being fostered but is still in need of her forever home.

This is what Sissy's foster mom has to say about her: "Sissy is white, female, adult. She is approx. 4 years old, and VERY sweet. The kids love her, and want to re-name her "Sweetie" but she already knows her name. She has great manners, she is house trained, and walks well on a leash. She would love a more relaxed family, kids are ok, in fact she loves mine. She is a great dog, and very mellow, she just wants to follow us around. She is approx 10lbs, and 15" to her shoulders. Please help me find a home for her. She deserves to have a loving family. Please share this, because this rescue dog is really a gem."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sissy, a Yuba City Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Yuba City, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Yuba City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yuba City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yuba City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yuba City paves the way for another one to be saved.
