Sandy is a sweet mellow young female Corgi mix (maybe with some bulldog in there) that is about 1yrs - 2yrs old. She has the softest red-brown thick fur ever and a beautiful thick tail! She is a stocky girl with funny short legs and weighs about 50lbs. If you are thinking of wanting a warm body to cuddle for winter, this is your girl!
Sandy had just hours left at a high kill shelter, where she ended up after being found abandoned and tied to a tree. She has the biggest brown loyal eyes with which she looked fearful at the shelter workers (not surprising if you are a smart girl), but now looks curious and intent at us here! She is currently in temporary boarding but desperately needs a Foster or Adopter ASAP so she can enjoy a loving home life.
Sandy is very loving and easy in daily life. She is good with other dogs and kids (unknown with cats) and is crate and house-trained. She will make a great family dog who is not high maintenance. She will be content to just hang out with the family, and join you in your activities like going for nice walks and kicking up some dirt! She walks fine on a sensation harness and is very re-directable.
