Annika's Story...
We got a call from a fellow rescue worker that told us she had a call from a woman who couldn’t afford to feed the pit bull that her friend left in her care anymore. The friend left the dog without telling her that she was pregnant, now there are 6 pups too. She was going to let the mother starve. Needless to say off we went, we verified the story and loaded up the family. These pics are taken after 2 weeks of good food and deworming, momma Anika is looking good now and the pups are 6 -7 weeks old. Soon they will be available for adoption, they will get their first shots when the are 8 weeks old, and momma Annika has an appointment for vetting and spay next week
Anika is a young (1-1/2 yr old) petite pit bull, black with the tiniest bit of brown brindle in her coat she weighs about 30-35 pounds. This is one sweet girl who is still worried about when her next meal may be. Very good with other dogs and still a happy playful puppy herself. Contact us at 931-698-0303 or woofwoof324@gmail.com . Adoption fee of $125 is required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annika, a Columbia American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Columbia, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
