Harley's Story...
Harley came to us here with his "brother" Jojo after their family moved out and left them behind to fend for themselves. Harley is a black lab roughly 1 year old. He is (as most labs are) very active and love to be included in whatever you are doing. He was recently vetted and neutered, but still needs to have his heartworm test-that should be done within the week. He is a very loving dog and wants to have a forever family to call his own, might that be you? If you are interested in Harley please email us at woofwoof324@gmail.com or 931-698-0303 to make arrangements to come visit him. Adoption fee of $125 is required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Columbia Flat-Coated Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Flat-Coated Retriever for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Flat-Coated Retriever dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Flat-Coated Retriever breeders who help with Flat-Coated Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
