My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NOTE: This is a courtesy posting for another rescuer. Please do not contact ARRF, as we do not know this pet personally. Be sure to contact the foster or organization directly from the information listed below.

This young guy seeks a home that will keep him active and busy with a job to do. One year old, 31lb, SHELDON is a neutered white and tan Australian Shepherd/Clumber Spaniel mix. He has a very soft snow-white coat, with just a hint of tan on his ears. He has alert eyes and a wonderfully pet-able soft coat. He loves exploring and sniffing his surroundings while walking with a sensation-type harness. He likes to chase balls and chew squeaky toys. He loves treats, and with his activity level might do well in agility or obedience training. He gets along well with some dogs, but not others, and isn't good with cats.

Loving, cuddly, happy, playful, and energetic are words volunteers have used to describe Sheldon's personality and demeanor. He loves his toys, and romping in the yard.

Sheldon does need some basic training, and lots of exercise. Australian Shepherds are known for their high level of intelligence, so he should be an eager learner. Because of his energy level, he would probably do best with older children. If you are looking for a medium sized dog, perhaps a loyal jogging partner, with great potential, then you ought to check out Sheldon!
