Kramer's Story...
Kramer-Basset/Shep Male
Kramer was adopted from the Rescue about a year ago. He was born in a foster home, his mother rescued from a high kill shelter just before giving birth. Kramer and his littermates found homes as small puppies. Unfortunately, Kramer's family is having a medical crisis and can no keep him. The Rescue has committed to getting him the best home again to help him adjust to the changes. Kramer is house trained, good with other dogs and with children. He has a mellow personalty,
sweet and gentle! His adoption fee is $250.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kramer, a Germantown Basset Hound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Basset Hound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Basset Hound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
