Nina==adopted!!'s Story...
Nina is a beautiful young (1-2 years old) calico cat. She was found as a stray and quickly came a part of the cat family. Unfortunately her family is unable to keep her permanently. Nina loves to play with a laser pointer or just a plain old piece of rolled up paper. She will even play "fetch" with the paper, on her terms of course! Nina has a bit of a "cattitude", but that just adds to her charm.

Nina gets along fine with dogs as long as they don't chase her around. Lived with other cats too and was ok with them just as long as they played by her rules!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nina==adopted!!, a New Richmond Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in New Richmond, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in New Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
