Earl's Story...
Earl is a 16 month old a basset/beagle mix. He gets along great with all dogs but has not been cat tested. He weighs about 45 - 50 lbs. He does well on a leash and is crate and house trained. He is a little shy at first, but once he gets used to you he is so sweet and has started to learn how wonderful toys are. He has lived with two small children and done great but can jump up from time to time. Earl is a wonderful, happy dog and would love to complete your family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Earl, a Christiana Basset Hound/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Beagle for sale in Christiana, or seeking a Basset Hound/Beagle dog from a breeder in Christiana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Christiana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Christiana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Beagle breeders who help with Basset Hound/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Christiana paves the way for another one to be saved.
