Houdini's Story...
Meet Houdini! A handsome black and white male tuxedo with a soul patch on his chin. He is a sweet boy that appears magically in one room when you think he's in another! That's because he's always checking on his humans to make sure they don't forget about him like his prior owner did. He was dumped outside and caught in a trap as part of a Trap-Neuter-Return program. Houdini is small for a male kitty which makes him even more adorable. He loves when you get down on his level to pet and talk sweet to him. Houdini enjoys being around other cats but we're not sure about dogs. I'm sure he'd be willing to give it a try if it meant having a great home! He is neutered, up-to-date on his shots and negative for feline aids and leukemia. You can meet Houdini in person at the Fairmount Pet Shoppe located at 2024 Fairmount Ave. in Philly. Come visit this guy today!

About Our Rescue Group...
Kittytracks operates Trap, Neuter and Return (TNR) programs for cat colonies in the Philadelphia, PA region. TNR is the most effective and humane way to manage cat colonies as new births are prevented through spay/neuter and gradually decrease in size due to attrition.

The plight of all these outdoor cats is just about everywhere. Females reproduce frequently and easily, but many of the kittens die. Born in the wild, those that make it become feral, unsocialized and afraid of humans. We track those cats down, wrangle them up and make sure they don't reproduce again. Volunteers for Kittytracks provide food, water and shelter. Injured cats are taken off the street and receive veterinary care.

Though many of the cats we catch are feral, there are many that are what we call "friendlies." They are the abandoned and neglected pets or the kittens that somebody has been feeding, and they don't belong in the street but in a home. We take them off the street, fix them up and set them on a better path. Those are the cats you will find for adoption at Kittytracks.

Come Meet Our Pets...
Kittytracks is a private rescue and not a shelter. All of the adoptable cats that come to us are abandoned pets that we find through our Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) program. We do do not take surrendered pets.

Some of our cats available for adoption can be seen at the Monster Pets store located on the Black Horse Pike in Audubon, NJ. Monster Pets is just 3 lights off of the first exit of the Walt Whitman bridge. Adoptables are rotated out of the adoption center every 7 to 10 days. Those currently in the adoption center will be indicated in their online profile.

Our Adoption Process...
We match all cats to their adopters using a questionnaire. It is available in both electronic and paper versions. Approved adopters sign a contract and pay an adoption fee which covers the spay/neuter, vaccinations, flea treatment, worming and microchip. All adoptable cats have tested negative for feline aids and leukemia unless otherwise indicated. Approved adopters must own a cat carrier.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
We are located just outside of Philadelphia on the mainline. We adopt out to homes in Southeastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.
