Rusty is quiet, polite and very cuddly. He is a gentle boy who would do well in any environment. He gets along just fine with his many foster brothers and sisters.

Rusty is about 5 years old. He 15 inches tall and weighs 32 pounds. He is up-to-date on vaccinations and is neutered. He is house trained and knows all about doggy doors.

Rusty came to Houston Beagle Rescue because, unfortunately, his previous owner could no longer care for him. He is now waiting for a new forever home. That could be with you! Please visit our website here and follow the instructions on adoption: Houston Beagle Rescue Our regular adoption fee is $225; special needs, mixes and senior dogs are $175, and pups 8 months and younger are $275. The fee includes the spay/neuter, the vaccines, flea and heartworm preventative/treatment, a new leash/ collar/ rescue ID tag, microchip, and some training. Some dogs may have had additional vetcare such as orthopedic surgeries, heartworm treatment or other procedures, but these "extras" will not affect their adoption fee. Donations to help with vetcare are always welcomed!
