Mark's Story...
Mark is a darling little Spaniel mix with big doe eyes, a sweet temperament, and a cute waggy stump of a tail that never stops! He would like very much to be your little shadow and be right by your side all day so he is close at hand if you need some snuggles! Mark has nice house manners and appears to be housebroken with no accidents at his foster home! He is friendly with other dogs and is starting to enjoy playtime as well. He is very smart and treat motivated, so should be quite easy to train. He loves to run and sniff and investigate outside, so a fenced yard would be a big plus for this guy.

Fence/enclosed patio required for most dogs. We check your vet reference and fence. Dogs are current on vaccinations, HW negative, micro chipped, dental if needed and spayed/neutered. Email lldogrescue@yahoo.com for quickest response.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mark, a Shawnee Mission Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Shawnee Mission, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Shawnee Mission.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Shawnee Mission already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Shawnee Mission breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Shawnee Mission paves the way for another one to be saved.
