Daisey's Story...
Daisey is a petite 12 week old kitten (almost half the size of her sibling Duke!) She is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. She plays when she finds a toy worth her time (she likes feathers), but often prefers to sit on your lap.

Daisey is shy around dogs, but would do well with an adjustment period. She does well with other cats, and loves to play and cuddle with them. She also does well with kids, provided they treat her nicely. All in all, Daisey would do well in almost any home.

She is spayed, microchipped, negative for FIV/Leuk, treated for all parasites, and has age-appropriate vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $100, and she is currently in foster-care. If you'd like more information, or to set up a meet-and-greet, you can call or text 847-773-7639, or email us at info.stsff@gmail.com. You can also apply online to adopt at www.stsff.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisey, a Addison Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Addison, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Addison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Addison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Addison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Addison paves the way for another one to be saved.
