Sweetie's Story...
This is Sweetie and as her name implies, she is indeed very sweet. This petite Pug weighs in at about 12 pounds. She came to Kiko as a stray from a pound and she is estimated to be about 7 years old. Sweetie loves people and is a real cuddler. While she is generally good with most other dogs, her endearing feisty side will not be shy to let you know if she happens to meet a dog she doesn't like. Sweetie has also decided that she would prefer not to share a home with cats, thank you very much. If you love Pugs, little Sweetie is sure to delight you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sweetie, a Rigaud Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Rigaud, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Rigaud.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rigaud already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rigaud breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rigaud paves the way for another one to be saved.
