Yellow Lab mix
Only 9 months old, male-neutered, 37 lbs. (slighly underweight)
Up-to-date on vaccinations and even micro-chipped!
Crate trained and housebroken!
Good with dogs and would prefer a home with another dog to play with!
Playful with cats (likes to chase them but probably won't hurt them)
Very sweet and affectionate and loving!
Fenced in yard preferred
Choppa is a little hand shy but he warms up quickly to all people and wants nothing more than to be your BFF!
Choppa is a very good boy - not a barker or a chewer and can be left without being crated!
He will make a phenomenal furever companion!!
To see more pictures of Choppa please go to: http://www.dogsunlimitedrescue.org/available_pets.htm
To take the first step in adopting Choppa please complete an Adoption Application at http://www.dogsunlimitedrescue.org/applications.htm
All Dogs Unlimited Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all shots, and are given a monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.
Upon adoption, all vet records and any current medications are provided to the adopter.
The completion of the application does NOT, in any way, obligate you to adopt. It is the first step in meeting a dog you are interested in [once the application is approved, the second step will be a home visit/meet and greet with your pet(s)
Our goal is to find the right match of our dogs to their new family so all involved are “furever” happy!
Questions: email diane@dogsunlimitedrescue.org or gina@dogsunlimitedrescue.org
And THANK YOU for considering a rescue dog for your family!
Rescue Group Info...
Dogs Unlimited Rescue, Inc. is an all volunteer non-profit 501(c)3 organization that is dedicated to educating the public and saving abused and neglected animals from an uncertain fate. Our organization rescues animals from high kill shelters, abuse or neglect cases, owner surrenders, and the breeding parents in Ohio puppy mills that would otherwise be inhumanely disposed of. We improved their lives by providing quality care and placement into permanent loving homes. We will continue to educate, rescue, rehabilitate and encourage the adoption of pets from shelters and rescue groups.
Gina Lutes-Finley
Founder & Executive Director
Dogs Unlimited Rescue
Our rescue animals are fostered in approved homes. these homes and fosters are carefully chosen and qualified on a case by case basis. We conduct adoption events at Pet People in Woodmere and Hudson, OH as well as combine fundraisers with adoption events to promote Rescue efforts and recruit volunteers and donors.
Our adoption fees range from $50 to $300. Dogs Unlimited Rescue requires an adoption application to be filled out by the potential adopter, which requires 2 personal references and a vet reference. After the potential adopter is approved to adopt, the adopter is required to fill out an adoption agreement at the time of the adoption which clearly states all requirements and agreements between the adopter and DogsUnlimited Rescue.
(Please be advised we do not ship our dogs; we do not adopt our unaltered pups out-of-state; and we do not have a physical shelter - all our dogs are cared for in loving foster homes)
We serve the following counties: Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Summit, Stark, Loraine, Portage and Medina.
