Brady Needs a Loving Home's Info...
| Breed: | Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier | Color: | Unknown | Age: | Adult |
| Size: | Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less | Sex: | Male | ID#: | 5168748 |
I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.
Brady is in north Alabama but could probably be transported by his foster mom to north or central Florida, or some other areas in the southeast, as long as a home visit could be arranged.
Brady is a 10 year old neutered male Yorkshire Terrier. He is beautiful, smart, playful, and so very sweet!! He is an absolute lap dog who wants to be in your lap or beside you all of the time. He is funny to watch when he plays with his toys with such gusto! Brady is healthy but does have some allergy problems. Brady is heartworm negative. He is pad trained.
Brady must have an ADULT ONLY home where at least one person is home at least 80% of the time. His mommy lived in a retirement apartment and never left it. Brady has lived the last 8 years of his life with a woman, so he would likely be most comfortable with another woman, but he is not fearful of men and he likes them. He was in an environment in which neither his mommy nor he went outdoors at all, so he will probably never be comfortable going on walks or outdoors for potty breaks. His new mommy and daddy will need to be accepting that he will not want to be outdoors.
Brady also must be an only dog to be happiest. He is not aggressive with other dogs, but he is hurt if another dog is the center of attention or in his mommy’s lap. J Brady rides well in a car for short trips, but since he will not go to the potty outdoors unless it has been 8-10 hours since his last potty time, he will not be a good long distance traveler. Brady eats a good quality canned food since he has no teeth.
Brady is in the care of Yorkie Friends Rescue and he wants to find the right loving home for him. If you fit the description for his needed home, please email Brady’s foster mom for info about adoption at Yorkietuff@aol.com .

Rescue Group Info...
Yorkie Friends Rescue was founded in March 2005. Most of the founding members had previously
been involved with other rescue groups. We are dedicated to the belief that all Yorkies and Yorkie
mixes are special no matter what their age or condition; and we will rescue those we find in need;
and we pledge that we will do everything possible to restore quality life to those in poor physical
or emotional condition; and we will work diligently to find good and loving homes in which they
can spend the remainder of their lives.
We welcome members from
all states. We are a 501c-3 organization. All donations to our group are fully tax deductible.
Members enjoy a close bond with each other which is founded in their mutual love for the dogs.
Everyone is an important part of the organization, and there exists a high level of mutual support
for each other, not only in our work for the dogs, but also in our personal endeavors.
The Adoption Process
1. Adoption application
2. References
3. Phone interview with foster parent
4. Home visit
5. Adoption contract and donation
6. Adoption follow-up
After The Adoption
After the adoption is complete and you take your baby home, we will maintain follow-up
communication with you for the first year to be certain that the adoption is working for you and
for your new family addition. Either the foster parent or our Adoption Nana will contact you at
specified intervals. We will be available to help you if you have any concerns about your adopted
dog. We want to insure that this home is truly the dog's Forever Home, and he/she never has to
know the pain of rejection and homelessness again.
Yorkie Friends has several members in Florida.
