Hey to all you dog lovers out there! Well here I am, cute as heck and waiting for my new family. My name is Isaac, I am 1 year old and a male Shih-tzu. I am neutered and micro chipped and up to date with all those silly needles. I am hoping to find a new forever home soon. I love to go for walks and play and most of all snuggle. I love having my foster buddies here to play with me, and will chase them all over the house and yard. Wow, we have so much fun together! I am 99 % housetrained, but still need work at times my foster mom says. I stay in my crate while she is at work, and I am so happy when she comes home and takes me outside - I run like a crazy man with happiness. I am looking forward to having a family and maybe another pal to play with. I am good with gentle children and love to snuggle and watch TV or just hang out with my humans.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Isaac, a Toronto Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
