Florence's Story...
Florence’s mama, Eleanor, was found in the heat of the oppressive Houston summertime sun. Even though she was so pregnant she was about to pop, she was still waddling along in a parking lot saying hi to strangers and hoping that she might find a helping hand. Luckily, her foster found her and gave her a nice loving home for her to have her adorably cute puppies in.

Florence and her sibling Riley are both looking for their fur-ever homes, and we have a feeling that you might be the perfect person for one of these sweet babies! Come by and say hi today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Florence, a Houston Fox Terrier (Wirehaired) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Fox Terrier (Wirehaired) for sale in Houston, or seeking a Fox Terrier (Wirehaired) puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Fox Terrier (Wirehaired) breeders who help with Fox Terrier (Wirehaired) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
