My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cleo is a beautiful paint mare with gorgeous blue eyes. She is approx. 8 - 10 yrs. old and 15 hands. She is a very sweet mare to handle and loves being groomed and fussed over. She loads on trailer, stands for farrier and has been ridden on trails. She would make a great partner on a trail. Cleo is best for an intermediate/beginner rider.
Cleo came to Iron Gait in August of 2012 severely neglected. She had rain rot, cuts and scrapes all over and several infected wounds that should have had stitches but never were cared for. Cleo had a body score of 1.5. Iron Gait immediately washed her down in an antibacterial bubble bath, began treating her severe wounds, had her vet checked and started her on a diet to help her quickly, but safely gain weight. She is now a healthy, happy horse that is in need of her forever home and loving family!
