Decker is a very sweet boy. He loves to kiss the younger kittens and snuggle up with them for a nap. He loves people and is very gentle natured. He is very calm and adjust well to new situations.

The SAFE Team founders are two friends who joined together to commit themselves to providing care for animals that are in need. With experience in animal rescue we knew that we could form a strong team and have great success working toward our objectives. Although new, opening January 2009 SAFE Reps have worked very hard to acquire the necessary resources to provide quality living for animals in our care.
SAFE provides vaccinations, de-worming, micro-chipping, spaying/neutering, any other medical procedures required, food, toys and foster homes for the animals until their forever homes are found.
Mission: Saving Animals From Euthanasia in shelters that are at their maximum capacity.
Objective: To provide medical care, spaying/neutering, and place rescued animals into adoption homes.
Vision: To build our own shelter that provides a safe place for animals until their forever homes are found.
Adoption Days:
SAFE Team will be having adoption days at Petcetera in Millwoods Towne Center, falling on the second (2nd) and forth (4th) Saturday of every month from 11am - 3pm. Please come down to meet some of our animals up for adoption and members of our team and support our cause!
SAFE Team is also a participant in Petcetera Charity's therefore some of our beautiful kitty's are always hanging out at the store in Millwoods Towne Center waiting for you to come to meet them! Feel free to stop in anytime within their regular business hours!
Adoption fee's for SAFE animals:
Kittens - $170 - 2 for $250
Cats - $150 - 2 for $200
Senior Cat (Aged 10+) - $125
Two For - $175
What is included in the adoption fee?
*All cats come with a 6 week trial of pet insurance*
Kittens - Vet checked to ensure health, up to date on FVRCP vaccination, FELV Vaccination, Rabies vaccine, de-wormed, micro-chipped and spay/neuter.
*Please Note: One Kitten from every litter is snap tested or the mother if we have her*

Adoption Process:
*Fill out an application (info on adopt page)
*A SAFE Rep will contact you to schedule a visit in your home.
*We will come meet you and see how the balance is in your home to decide if the animal of interest would be a successful match in your family.
*Pick up your new furr baby
*Please note the process can take anywhere from 2 days - 1 week depending on our availability*
Adoption Requirments:
A loving home who is able to provide a safe forever home to an animal in need. Must allow SAFE Reps to do 3 home visits after adoption to ensure the animal is setteling in well into your family. Must provide a success story for our website once the animal is settled in. All animals in your home must be vaccinated and you must be willing to take your adopted animal to a vet. Must live in Edmonton area.
*Please note: there is a contract in which you are required to sign releiving SAFE and it's Team of any damage or injury. As well as stating the animal will be treated humanely and given everything it needs*
