Nell's Story...
Flannel aka "Nell" is a 2 year old short haired tortoiseshell with a little bit of white under her chin and on her front left toes. She is litterbox trained and up-to-date on shots. Very loving and sociable; tolerates dogs and does fine with other cats. Named "Nell" as her coloring reminds me of flannel PJs. Was brought to Dream'n Paws when a shelter in New Mexico asked for help to place some of their animals. Would love to be placed with a kitten as a buddy so a discounted adoption fee would apply *email or call for details*.

Nell's adoption fee is $75.00 which includes shots, vet check, spaying, and the application processing. Home check required. For an extra $5.00 adopter can get a personalized tag with their contact info and Dream'n Paws's. IN FOSTER.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nell, a Colorado Springs Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colorado Springs, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Colorado Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
