found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed and up to date with shots.
Taylor is looking for her forever, loving and understanding home.
Meet this Miniature Sheppard we believe her to be a Corgi – German Sheppard mix. She was born around Christmas of last year. Found buried in a hole, in the woods off dirt road in the country with all her siblings in February of 2012. We believe their mother put them there. We believe she raised them there for protection and something must have happened to her because when she did not return, their cries alerted the nearby homes to their whereabouts.
I rescued the whole litter and she is the last of them to find a forever home. She is current on all Vaccinations, Spayed and on regular heartworm treatment. Crate trained and house broken. She loves to run free in our fenced in back yard and walks well on a leash. She is a love bug who attaches herself to one person and will follow them wherever they go. Due to her first few months of life with no human contact she is extremely shy and it takes time and patience for her to warm up and come around to humans. She is not aggressive, nor a biter but she will hide under tables, in closets where ever she can to feel safe. We provide a crate for her to run into if she isn’t feeling safe.
I would not recommend a home with children or a lot of noise and activity – she has lived around them in my home and she is not aggressive by any means, she loves on mine when they lay down but they tend to make her go hide and be nervous a lot when they are active. She loves to snuggle and sleep with her human. She want leave your side once she has bonded to you. I would keep her myself if my home was not a constant bustle of teenagers but the environment keeps her anxious. She really needs a quiet and peaceful place to be able to come out of her shell and really find her confidence.
