Elias's Story...
Hi, my name is Elias and I am a Catahoula/Shepherd mix born approximately 12/2008. Me and my siblings were left in a box at the Humane Society kennel. We do not know why we were not wanted, we are very sweet and loving pups. Several of my siblings looked very pure-bred catahoula, but I have a very unique ash/grey/black coat and am told that I am very beautiful. I can be a little shy at first but, I warm up quickly to new people. I get along well with other female dogs and love to run and play. I would love to find a home where I will be allowed in the house with my new family but, also has a fenced in yard so I can run and play. I have a lot of love to share with my new family, I am just waiting for my forever family to find me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elias, a Hot Springs Catahoula Leopard Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Hot Springs, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Hot Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hot Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hot Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hot Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
