Chelsea's Story...
Hi, my name is Chelsea, don't I look soft and CUDDLY? I am a a gorgeous shepherd / heeler mix, and I was born approximately in 2005. I have a beautiful soft CREAM colored coat with light brown spots and SPECKLES. Makes you want to pet me and rub my ears, doesn't it?! The people at the shelter all say I am a very friendly, sweet, loving girl who sometimes can be shy with new people. Yes, I admit that I am a little SHY WITH STRANGERS. But if I had a family that I could get to know and trust, I would be fine, I am not shy with the volunteers that I know. I love to go for walks and absolutely LOVE when volunteers come to spend time with me and give me TREATS, I love their attention and even get a little jealous of the other dogs around at those times....I want them all to myself. It doesnt take a lot of energy to make happy. I am just as HAPPY to RELAX AND SIT beside you. I know that when I get to my new home, it will be so wonderful... you and me taking walks and sharing our lives. I know I will make a wonderful fur friend.... hope to see you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chelsea, a Hot Springs Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Hot Springs, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Hot Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hot Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hot Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hot Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
