Imagine being abandoned at a busy Philadelphia street intersection, on a cold night, locked in a small cat carrier. This is how Bingo was left behind by his owners. Green Street Rescue (GSR) received a call about this cat and sprung into action, pulling him off the street. He has been neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV and FeLv and placed into foster care.
Bingo is polydactyl, which means that he was born with more than the usual number of toes. Polydactyl cats are also referred to as “boxing cats”, “mitten cats”, “thumb cats”, “six-fingered cats”, and “Hemingway cats.”
Bingo is approx 10-11 months old, affectionate but shy. We can only speculate about his circumstances prior to coming to GSR. He retrieves into hiding at first but really enjoys attention and being held. Please consider giving Bingo a second chance.

Green Street Rescue (GSR) is an all volunteer non-profit whose goal is to humanely reduce the stray cat population in Philadelphia, through rescue work and adoptions and the practice of Trap-Neuter-Return-Manage (TNRM) for feral cats.
