Karl is a male Labrador Retriever mix puppy only 3.5 months old. He has thick, fuzzy black fur with gorgeous deep chocolate brown undertones and a white bib on his chest. Karl is a sweetly social little guy. He is more on the sensitive side and will likely bond very closely with his family. Karl loves attention and snuggling and will look to his people for direction. He is very interactive and watches things closely. He appears to be quite smart and loves to explore the great outdoors on a nice sunny day. Karl will poke around in the backyard contentedly entertaining himself, and is perfectly happy to just hang out and keep you company. He enjoys playing with doggie friends and has a easygoing manner about him. Karl is excellent with children, other dogs and cats. He would make a great choice for a family pet and will flourish in the security of a safe, warm, predictable environment. He is a robust and healthy young boy. Karl and his brother, Kendryk, were brought in stray to the shelter. They were a bit scared there, but true to their resilient nature they came through the experience unscathed and without any "baggage". Karl learning good potty habits and is almost completely housetrained. This young pup has had a great start in his foster home and is now ready for a real forever home to call his own!

Karl's adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED and DEFLEAED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Karl is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Lara and is ready for his forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

KARL, a Newport Beach Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
