Friday's Story...
FRIDAY is a darling domestic medium hair 5 month old "torti" who, like cats worshipped long ago, reins supreme in her kitten domain. She adores sitting on her sunny throne (or chair) & gazing out the window. She's extremely playful and particularly enjoys crinkly balls and feathery toys that you can faithfully flip and dangle for her. Friday enjoys having your undivided attention while you dote on her beauty and sweetness. But like any worthy "princess", she wants your lap all to herself. Friday arrived at a local high kill shelter as the result of an eviction and is eager for a stable, forever home. Friday is currently in foster care in Burke, VA .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Friday, a Arlington Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
