Gunther's Story...
If you are interested in viewing or adopting these kitties, please go to www.orphankittenrescue.com/adopt and fill out an application.

Gunther is a little motor, purring so loudly when he cuddles you! He loves jumping into laps and getting all the attention, and will follow your hand if you try to pet someone else! He loves being scratched behind the ears, on his belly, and near his tail. His grey spots are as unique as he is, and adorable to boot. Gunther loves everything he does, whether it be playing, eating, or cuddling. And trust us, he does a lot of each! His spunky personality is balanced nicely by his sweet side. Gunther is a truly special kitty, so please come see him soon!

Gunther's siblings are Whitecap, Mynxi, Holli, and Lark. The two girls (Mynxi and Holli) like to stick together, and so do the two boys (Gunther and Lark). Gunther is unfamiliar with dogs, but seems to love other cats. He would do best with one of his siblings or another kitty to play with.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gunther, a Vancouver Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
