Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucy is a very responsive, energetic, well-trained, gorgeous, playful, lovable and loving, two-year-old, 55-pound, female brindle and white Am Staff/Boxer-mix looking for a loving guardian. Lucy loves to work! She happily and proudly shows off what she knows. She already knows the commands: sit, down and paw, and takes treats gently from your fingers. Lucy gets along well with people of all ages and can be selective of her doggie friends. She has proven to be perfectly housebroken and crate-trained. She is wonderful in the car and great on leash. She is a wonderful jogging or biking companion. Lucy is looking for someone with the time and energy to continue her training, provide her with plenty of exercise, love and leadership. She will respond with plenty of kisses, hugs, tail wags and loads of loyalty. Lucy is very healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm-tested, on monthly preventative, and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits the Friends of Chicago Animal Care & Control. To meet and possibly adopt Lucy, please contact her foster mom Sue at sue@bellyrubklub.com or 630-542-3559. She is being fostered in Lombard, Illinois.
