BAXTER's Story...
This boy is very handsome. He was going to die the next morning when he walked up to me , licked my hand and then walked to the back of the kennel and hung his head.He was saying I know you won't take me. He grabbed my heart and he came home. We squeezed him into the car with the others and he didn't care as long as he was out. He tried to sit on my lap but 68 lbs of dog is a bit much. He settled for some petting. He likes to walk and his favorite activity is jumping in a pile of kleaves and sitting there. Could he be a little boy in his pretty fur coat. ! He is only 1 yr old and has some growing to do. If you like the big boys please get back in touch and come meet him. He has Saint Bernard coloring but Dane body and fur.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BAXTER, a Raleigh Hound (Unknown Type)/Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Great Dane for sale in Raleigh, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Great Dane dog from a breeder in Raleigh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Raleigh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Raleigh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Great Dane breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Raleigh paves the way for another one to be saved.
