Stormy's Story...
HELP! URGENT! Tanner and Stormy ran away from their Denver foster home on 8/16/02. Address available upon request. A REWARD IS OFFERED FOR THEIR SAFE RETURN!

Stormy is a 1.5 year old cat who's litterbox trained. Was brought to Dream'n Paws when a shelter in New Mexico asked for help to place some their animals. Six out of the eight kittens rescued, including Stormy, were very afraid of people and needed time to adjust to being handled. Stormy is coming around nicely and is very friendly. However he tries to attack your feet when you're not looking. Stormy is dog curious, gets along fine with other cats. He is named so as Stormy is as grey as storm clouds; a very pretty boy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stormy, a Colorado Springs Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colorado Springs, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Colorado Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
