My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Initial Bio 11/24/12: Hi evfurrybody, I'm Serenity. I'm not sure if I did anything wrong, but I seem to have lost my home and mommy. I heard the lady that is taking care of me tell someone that she "drove 610 miles Friday to get a new foster dog that is sweeter than sugar!!" I'm not sure what that means but I hope it is something good. I just know that I am getting good food, a comfy place to sleep and tons and tons of lovin' at this new place. I love playing with my foster furbrothers and also taking naps with my foster family.

Foster mom here now..........Serenity is a 10 month old, 6 pound female bundle of pure sweetness. Her original mommy loved her very, very much and when finances prevented her from taking care of Serenity appropriately, United Yorkie Rescue was called upon to help find a new home that could provide the care every doggie deserves. It is very apparent that Serenity was loved. She is a very well mannered little lady, knows her name and comes promptly when called. She knows "no" and stops what ever she is doing immediately and also knows "sit" when she comes inside and is ready for her treat. I just picked her up Friday and already, Serenity is acting like she has lived here her whole life. She is housebroken and crate trained (all it takes is "get in your bed" and she goes in the crate). She goes to the door and looks back at me when she wants outside. She will do good in a home with or without other dogs as she loves to play as much as she loves her "one on one" people time. She also loves kids 12 - 14 but has not been tested around younger children and due to her size, should not be around very small children. I will be taking her to the dogter the first of the week where she will be checked out, heartworm and fecal tests and spayed. If you have a place in your life for Serenity, please fill out an application for her at United Yorkie Rescue
