At Kiko, we feel that Beagles get a bad rap. It is true that they are not for everyone, but what dog is? Wilson is one of two wonderful Beagles that we currently have available for adoption. He was obviously trained but then, for reasons we will never understand, was seen being dumped out of a car in a town north of Montreal. Wilson is proving to be an excellent house guest at his foster home and gets along well with the other dogs there. While Beagles are known for following their noses, Wilson has been off leash and stays with his new pack. He is big for a Beagle, could possibly be a mix, but certainly does not look the 55 pounds that he weighed in at. Wilson is not a big eater so perhaps is more used to table food, which would also explain his generous girth. Wilson is quiet and easygoing, and would make a great family pet for even first-time dog owners.
