Astoria's Story...
Astoria is one of three puppies that were rescued from a high kill shelter in southern Ohio. We don't know much about them, except that these puppies are super cute and love to cuddle! They will be very large when they are full grown as these little guys are already 13 pounds and were born on September 5th, making them almost 3 months old. Our best guess is that they will reach approximately 100 pounds when fully grown. But we don't know for sure.

They are all up to date on vaccinations.

Her adoption fee is $400.00 with $50.00 returned once a proof of spay/neuter is provided.

She is currently available for adoption and will be at our event on the 1st if she is adopted prior.

Please join us on Saturday, December 1st from 12pm -3pm at:

Washington Tractor Supply 66030 Van Dyke Washington, MI 48095

*If you are interested in a certain dog or cat, please email to be sure the animal you are looking for will be in attendance and not adopted.

If you aren’t able to make it to our adoption event, please email us and we will try our best to set up an appointment for you to meet one of our animals!

Peace, Love and Rescue!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Astoria, a Armada Great Pyrenees/Newfoundland puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Newfoundland for sale in Armada, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Newfoundland puppy from a breeder in Armada.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Armada already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Armada breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Newfoundland breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Newfoundland rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Armada paves the way for another one to be saved.
