"Little Miss Piggy" is a very sweet female Chihuahua/Doxie mix that is about 2-3yrs old. She weighs about 8lbs and has short white fur with tan spots which is easy to care for in daily life.
She has a cute and funny way about her, and will walk or sit on her hind legs as if she thinks she is "Little Miss Piggy, Circus Performer". She is an "entertainment center on 4 legs!" and will be a great addition to a family with kids (toddler size up). She is very funny and clownish with her acrobatic antics and will be a source of amusement for the whole family!
She gets along with other dogs, although like a true chi she will initially approach other dogs as if she is "a big bad dog", but is completely harmless and then settles down. She did fine at her recent visit to a dog park. Also like many chi's, she can not always be trusted to not pee on the carpet, so it is important to regulate her water intake and take her out regularly (or have her wear a doggie diaper).
She loves to be close to her humans, so she will dig under or go over a playpen to get to you.
She is not too fond of being crated and will whine unless she is very tired.
She is a very sweet, affectionate and communicative little girl. She is also fun loving and then when it's time to relax she will snuggle up in your lap (an extra nice trait during the winter). :-)
"Little Miss Piggy" is a truly cute little companion that is good with kids and dogs (not tested with cats, although she is smaller than most cats) and is not high maintenance. She is eagerly waiting to find her new forever family!!
